Truck Mixed On/Off Road
Mix On/Offroad
A mixed service trailer-axle tyre designed to offer smooth on-road driving, but also suitable for moderate off-road use. We also guarantee retread casing acceptance and offer free tyre damage cover*.
“The problem with mixed-service tyres is that the casing and the tread pattern needs to be tough enough to face light off the road situations – but this sometimes means a rough ride on the road. OMNITRAC seems to have the blend right and works best if your vehicles mainly use the road, but need some off-road capability, such as delivering to a construction site. If your off-road needs are more extreme, you may want to look at the OMNITRAC HD (Heavy Duty) option.”
The wide and deep tread provides high wearable rubber volume while the Multi-Radius surface distributes pressure evenly across the tread
> Even wear, high mileage.
Increases the groove length and provides lateral structures for additional biting edges
> Improved breaking performance and wet grip, 3PMSF marking.
Robust centre blocks withstand high torque and rough surfaces
> Improved damage resistance and chip and chunk resistance.
Stone ejectors push trapped stones out when moving in or out of the contact patch; variable groove angles reduce the grip on the stones
> Improved self-cleaning capabilities and reduced stone holding; high casing durability.
All Goodyear truck tyres are both retreadable and regroovable and have been developed for optimised sustainability, allowing fleets to make the best use of their tyre assets and substantially reduce their cost per mile and environmental footprint.
‘FRT’ stands for ‘Free Rolling Tyre’ and is a legal marking according to the UNECE Regulation No. 54, which indicates that the tyre is specifically designed and intended for the equipment of trailer axles and axles of motor vehicles other than front steering and all drive axles. Therefore these trailer tyres marked ‘FRT’ should be used exclusively on trailer axles and axles of motor vehicles other than front steering and all drive axles and should not be fitted in any other position. Goodyear Dunlop will not warrant and cannot be held accountable for any potential liability claim involving FRT tyres fitted outside these recommendations.
