RunOnFlat Technology

RunOnFlat Technology

Featuring reinforced shoulders, RunOnFlat tyres are designed to allow drivers to continue their journey in the event of a puncture in the tyre tread. This allows the tyre to continue to carry the weight of the vehicle over a limited distance of around 50 miles at around 50mph, unless the vehicle manufacturer handbook states otherwise.

Rim Protection Technology

Rim Protection Technology

This technology features a thick band around the rim of the tyre to protect both the rim and tyre against curb rash. A great addition for vans and commercial vehicle drivers making deliveries.

Benefits
EXCELLENCE - Summer Tire - 275/40/R19/101Y
Quiet, comfortable driving
Enjoy a quiet, comfortable trip every time with a tread designed to reduce excess noise.
Easy braking on wet roads
The Goodyear Excellence tyre is made with a new polymer compound that helps it grip the road, even in the wettest of conditions. This feature delivers a shorter braking distance, so you can enjoy peace of mind when driving in the rain.
Even wear and smooth handling
Even wear and smooth handling Excellence tyres are designed to distribute pressure evenly across their surface, which means more even wear in the long term and smoother handling, even at higher speeds on the motorway. Additional shoulder stabilisers also help improve performance while taking corners, so you can feel confident on every journey.

D
Fuel efficiency
Fuel efficiency is a measure of the tyre's rolling resistance. A tyre with low rolling resistance is fuel efficient because it requires less energy to roll. Fuel efficiency is rated from A (highest rating) to E (lowest rating).
C
Wet grip
Wet grip measures the braking ability of the tyre on wet surfaces. Wet grip is rated from A (shortest stopping distance) to E (longest stopping distance).
B
Exterior noise
Measures the tyre's noise level outside the vehicle in decibels. The noise class is rated from A (quiet) to C (loud).
