Goodyear Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 SUV

The Goodyear Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 SUV

  • Better grip on snow: Better grip on snow through large amount of sipes at the center of the tread. The sipes influence each other at their intersection, stimulating their opening for better grip.
  • Shorter dry braking and improved dry handling: Reduced deformation of the tyre during heavy maneuvers through strong crown & shoulder blocks.
  • Lifetime aquaplaning resistance: Over time grooves evolve to continuously disperse surface water.

Description

The Goodyear Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 SUV

Excellent wet, dry and snow performance for SUVs.

The advantages of the Goodyear Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 SUV at a glance:

  • Better grip on snow: Better grip on snow through large amount of sipes at the center of the tread. The sipes influence each other at their intersection, stimulating their opening for better grip.
  • Shorter dry braking and improved dry handling: Reduced deformation of the tyre during heavy maneuvers through strong crown & shoulder blocks.
  • Lifetime aquaplaning resistance: Over time grooves evolve to continuously disperse surface water.

Our Test Results

Innovation drives us.
Since 1898, we've excelled at coming up with new ideas. Our tyres are not only innovative - they are also highly rated by experts. Goodyear tyres have been tested in independent European tyre magazines over many years - with outstanding results. Our engineers evaluate every new tyre design on more than 50 performance criteria. This is how we can ensure high quality and give you a better driving experience.

Electric Vehicle (EV) ready

All new and current Goodyear tires are optimized to provide exceptional performance for electric and internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles, as evidenced by the new Goodyear EV-Ready logo that has been introduced on the sidewall of all new replacement tires starting in early 2024.

Goodyear has developed a toolkit of technologies to suit both EVs and other powertrains including:

  • SoundComfort Technology: Drivers become more aware of noise created by tires and roads interaction as the most noticeable change in EV’s is just how quiet the car is. To ensure the EV journey stays as quiet as possible, SoundComfort technology has the potential to reduce interior noise up to 50%.
  • Mileage Plus Technology: As EV’s are heavier than traditional vehicles, there can be more wear on electric car tires. Combined with instant torque this can cause standard tires to wear more quickly, also depending on the driving behaviour. Using technologies such as the Mileage Plus Technology, the Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 2, for example, can give drivers up to 50% more mileage than its predecessor.
  • Rolling Resistance Technologies: Goodyear’s Low Rolling Resistance technologies contribute to reducing energy consumption and extending the driving range. Extending the driving range can be achieved by optimizing the tire structure, in combination with developing innovative compounds and aerodynamically tuning the sidewall design

EU Tyre Label

C
Fuel efficiency
Fuel efficiency is a measure of the tyre's rolling resistance. A tyre with low rolling resistance is fuel efficient because it requires less energy to roll. Fuel efficiency is rated from A (highest rating) to E (lowest rating).
B
Wet grip
Wet grip measures the braking ability of the tyre on wet surfaces. Wet grip is rated from A (shortest stopping distance) to E (longest stopping distance).
B
Exterior noise
Measures the tyre's noise level outside the vehicle in decibels. The noise class is rated from A (quiet) to C (loud).
Snow Grip
There are two new options for including an additional icon. The snow tyre icon shows, if a tyre is suitable for severe snow conditions. It bears a three-peak mountain snowflake symbol (3PMSF) that is incorporated in the sidewall of such tyres. The pictogram is granted by measuring the braking distance of a car from 25 mph on compacted snow or by measuring the traction force of a tyre. For a truck, the pictogram is granted by measuring the acceleration performance of a tyre. Snow grip performance in general is tested in accordance with Annex 7 to UNECE Regulation No 117. The regulation describes in detail such factors as test surface, air temperature, testing vehicle, load, pressure, speed, and many more.
